Research description – PublicationsResume

My name is Jonathan Touboul, I am PI of the Mathematical Neuroscience Team, part of the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Biology of the Collège de France.

My work (see Publications list) deals with the modeling and mathematical analysis of systems inspired by brain’s activity. I am particularly interested in the study of phenomena described by nonlinear dynamical systems, stochastic processes and interacting particles systems.

Previously (see my Resume), I have been working as a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Mathematics of Pittsburgh University with Bard Ermentrout (2009), and in the Mathematical Physics laboratory of the Rockefeller University in New-York (2010), where I was mentored by Marcelo Magnasco. I performed my PhD in applied mathematics at Ecole Normale Supérieure (Paris) and INRIA, from the doctoral school of  École Polytechnique.
